Privacy Policy

Account information. Your email address, display name, date of birth, and password (stored as a one-way hash).

User Content. The diary entries, family tree data, PECR goals, letters, recordings, files, and estate planning documents you create in the Service.

Beneficiary and recipient information. Names, email addresses, and relationship details you provide for people you designate to receive your content.

Payment information. Handled entirely by PayPal. We store only a payment identifier, the amount, the plan tier, and the issued access code. We never see or store your card details.

Technical information. Basic request metadata (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security, abuse prevention, and debugging.

• To provide the Service and the features you request.
• To deliver your content to beneficiaries you designate, on the schedule you specify.
• To process payments and issue access codes.
• To send transactional emails (receipts, unlock notifications, account alerts).
• To protect the security and integrity of the Service.
• To improve the Service through aggregate, non-identifying usage analysis.

User Content, account data, and metadata are stored in encrypted databases and object storage operated on our behalf by Supabase (our cloud database and storage provider). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Access to your capsule is enforced at the row level: our database only returns your content when the authenticated request comes from your account or from a recipient you have explicitly designated.

We never sell, rent, or license your personal data or User Content to third parties. We do not use your User Content to train advertising models. We do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

You may at any time:

• Access the personal data associated with your account.
• Export your User Content in a portable format.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Delete your account and all associated User Content (subject to short backup retention windows).
• Withdraw consent to optional processing at any time.

We use only the cookies and local storage necessary to keep you signed in, remember your preferences (such as appearance settings), and protect against abuse. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

We share limited data with the following third parties strictly to operate the Service. Each is contractually obligated to protect your data:

• Supabase — cloud database, authentication, and encrypted file storage.
• PayPal — payment processing and subscription management.
• Resend — transactional email delivery.
• Lovable AI Gateway (Google Gemini / Anthropic Claude) — powers the DTC AI Assistant. Prompts and responses are processed to generate replies and are not used to train third-party models under our contract.

We retain your User Content for as long as your account is active or as needed to deliver time-locked content to your designated recipients. When you delete an entry or close your account, the corresponding data is removed from active systems promptly, and from encrypted backups within a reasonable rotation window.

The Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced in the Service or via email. Continued use of the Service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.
